We may still be sweltering in this 80 degree summer heat, but there is nothing like the anticipation of fall; the cool crisp air, our favorite suede boots and cozy cashmere sweaters. This fall I’m particularly excited about changing up my makeup palette with some alluring fall colors to take me from LA, New York, London and Paris.
This week, I’ve collaborated with celebrity makeup artist, Nicole Wittman, who is sharing her tips on the hottest makeup and hair trends for Fall 2014. Before she jets off to New York Fashion Week, she shows us how we can transition our summer look to the electric hues of fall.

FOUR HOT LOOKS FOR FALL
The Minimal Makeup Look & Ballerina Updo
Ballerina buns with a pared-back beauty; fresh, clean minimal makeup, with shades of nude, lilac and taupe. Think glossy pink lids and winter flushed cheeks.
Deep, dark plum lips & Sleek long pony
Dark, sexy, plum lips with a hint of punk. The rest of the face should be minimal. A super sleek high or low long pony, or a textured ponytail with a center partings is a winning look for fall.
Silver, smoky metallic eyes. Rich luscious, nonchalant hair.
High shine, silver smoky metallic grey eyes for a New York night. Pair with textured luxurious hair that is a little roughed up with a strong side parting. It’s about the hair looking done, but a while ago.
Burgundy/Metallic Eye. A natural, loose chignon
Gorgeous burgundy lids with metallic undertones and a hint of sheen. Copper brown metallic eyes are also huge for fall. For a textured undone chignon, secure a large soft low bun with pins and let flyways and hair pieces hang loosely.
