In September my dear and closest friends are tying the knot in charming Santa Barbara. Me and the man decided to do a little pre-wedding weekend adventure, and indulge in my little love affair for luxury hotels. (As Oscar Wilde put it, “I can resist anything except temptation.”) Santa Barbara does not disappoint when it comes to beautiful resorts and creatively designed hotels. Below is a guide to some of my favorite. The running theme for le weekend wardrobe was of course, my classic nautical stripes. Because nothing says vacation like some Santa Barbara stripes.

First stop, the old world spanish flair of the Four Seasons Resort, The Biltmore.

Onto the Bacara Resort and Spa. A handsome Spanish style modern luxury resort with ocean view rooms and a sensational spa that I never wanted to leave.
